Casa De Oro Library

Libraries play a vital role in strengthening a community. Therefore, to meet a growing community need Casa De Oro is planning for a new library branch. This branch will nearly double in size and offer new programs and support. This is a Design build project for design and construction of new single story library facility of 13,490 sqf (11,709 nsf) including all landscape, utilities, and site improvements. This facility is Type V-B fully sprinklered primarily wood-framed structure and concrete foundation to meet reduction of embodied carbons by 30%. Project includes ground improvement utilizing stone columns to provide a proper building pad to support the structure. This project includes coordination with all utility companies for new services to this facility. Project was primarily design & constructed on property leased by County from La Mesa Spring Valley School District. ECC Team coordinated all design and construction for the project with County & LMSVSD to ensure requirements of lease were applied.
