Scope: Project included design and construction for a new fire station on 1.97 acre site. The new fire station is 12,129 square feet and consists of three (3) apparatus bays, decontamination area, turnout lockers, shop & hose storage, and SCBA room in the utilitarian portion of the station. The living quarters consist of five (5) bunk rooms, private restrooms, laundry, EMS storage, Day Room, Dining & Kitchen, Fitness Room, Training Room sized for Emergency Operation Center, Captain Office, and Watch/Duty office. The structure is Type VB with masonry apparatus bay walls, and the remainder of the wood framed facility. This new fire station is located in a wildfire area of County and as such it is designed to meet requirements of regulations for structures within wildfire zone. The new station is provided with code compliant electrical systems, HVAC systems, and plumbing systems including meeting Cal Green standards. The site development regrading of site for new fire station, new utility service lines with capacity for the new fire station, new ATS septic system, and storm water basin to comply with SWQMP regulations.
